Our centers operate on a digital platform, allowing the business to run more productively with minimal time for information delivery. On arrival at the clinic, patients are first registered and then accompanied to the appropriate rooms for their examinations. Once the procedures are completed, the images which are stored in the Computed Radiography (CR) workstation are transferred to the achiever and are immediately accessible to the radiologists via the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS).
For urgent cases where the referring physicians require hard copies of films to be brought back to their clinics, patients are able to leave our clinics immediately with the wet films and the reports are subsequently faxed to the doctors. Otherwise, the reports are matched with the films and given to the patients who return to collect them within an hour. Depending upon the referring physicians’ instructions, the results may be dispatched or posted to them. The reports of the examinations are stored in and retrievable from our computer system, normally for up to three years. They are printed in duplicate and given to the referring physicians.
